Smart Newtown is moving in!

We’ve got some exciting news. After so many years on Constable Street, our colleagues at Smart Newtown - Newtown's free computer hub - are relocating . . . to here! That’s right, they’re joining us right here in the Newtown Community Centre! This is a very exciting move – there will be heaps of benefits of uniting all of our services under one roof.

After Thursday 12^th September, their old outpost on Constable Street will be closed to the public, and on Monday September 30th, the Smart Newtown team will be fully open to the public here at the Community Centre, with new extended days – 10.30am-4.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 10.30am-2.30pm Wednesdays.

In the gap - Monday 16th to Friday 27th September - they'll be running shortened Help Desk services from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday, here at the Community Centre. Feel free to drop in during those times to get help with your smartphone, online accounts or much more! 

They'll be keeping all of their old and new services running, including free use of desktop PCs and wi-fi, free scanning, low-cost printing and laminating, technical help, computer classes, and Skinny Jump signups. We’re super excited to welcome Smart Newtown to Te Whare Hapori o Ngā Puna Waiora!
